![]() ![]() ![]() Take the Pathways of Learning Quiz: ADULTS by Robert Needlman, M.D., F.A.A.P. reviewed by Lynn Cates, M.D., F.A.A.P. As an adult, you probably have a pretty good idea of your own strengths and weaknesses. And while a self-quiz like this one may not tell you anything you don't already know, it might lead you to look at yourself in a slightly different light. In particular, if you tend to base your self-assessments on the grades you got in school years ago (for example, "I got C's in math, so I must not have much in the way of logical/mathematical smarts"), then this quiz might offer you a fresh perspective, since it focuses on real-life items rather than schoolwork. After you answer the 20 questions below, you'll get a profile of your different intelligence pathways. You'll also receive specific suggestions on how you can take advantage of your strongest intelligences and strengthen or compensate for areas in which you're less proficient. You might also take a moment to think about how your pattern of intelligences matches up with your children's. Chances are that you will overlap in some areas, but not in others. Thinking about multiple intelligences in this way might suggest activities in which you can both shine and identify other activities that might be a little more difficult to enjoy together. For each statement, click the circle that best describes you: | ||
