Allergies during pregnancy
QUESTION
With this pregnancy my allergies are in full swing and everytime I blow my nose there is blood. Is there anything I can do?

Nose bleeds and gum bleeds are quite common in pregnancy. This is probably because of the increased blood flow to the mucous membranes. There isn't much you can do about it except being gentle when you blow your nose. You can, however, treat your allergies. Many allergy medications are safe to use during pregnancy. You should discuss with your practitioner which medications would be appropriate for you.
