A Newborn With Leaky Diapers
QUESTION
How can I keep newborn diapers from leaking all day?

— Linda from Stow, Ohio

I wish I knew a good answer to your question, having had the same problem with my own children as newborns. My best advice is that you experiment with different diapers, since the absorbency can differ between brands. Aside from that, I simply suggest frequent diaper changes and investing in a bunch of extra onesies or undershirts so that you don't end up adding extra laundry to your already time-consuming activities of newborn care.

On the bright side, when a newborn is soaking his diapers, it usually suggests that all is well with his appetite and that he is getting plenty to drink!
