Worried that Toddler Won't Eat Vegetables
QUESTION
Dear Ms. Silva,
I'm a little worried that my two-year-old son doesn't eat any vegetables. Should I be worried?

Dear Stephy,
I don't think you should be worried since two year olds often have challenging eating behaviors. Just be sure to continue serving him vegetables on a regular basis. You might try giving him a few tablespoons of vegetables before the meal begins when he's more apt to be hungry. You can also slip them into macaroni and cheese, spaghetti sauce, or puree them and add to stew. Of course, the best way to get your child to eat vegetables is to eat them yourself everyday.
