Newborn Sleeping Near a Computer
QUESTION
Dear Dr. Jana,
Will you please be so kind as to tell me whether it is harmful for my newborn baby to sleep in a room where (and while) I work on my PC? The hardware of my computer is modern, and I work very quietly.

ANSWER

Dear Drago,
I have to say that I am not only impressed with your concern for your child's well-being, but your ability to get work done and care for a newborn! As far as I know, working on a PC in the same room as where your newborn is sleeping is not thought to be harmful in any way.

I hope you'll find answers to any and all of your other newborn questions on our site--and if not, don't hesitate to ask.
