Hello. Please don't be so hard on yourself. Yes, this was likely a pretty shocking site for young child, but he will be okay. If you make too big a deal out of it, he will think you were doing something wrong. The best thing to do is be very positive and firm about it by discussing it with him ONCE..and then let it go. In other words, explain to him that mommies and daddies like to do things that make each other feel good...and that it is a wonderful thing. Then drop it....and move on to playing or something totally different. This will reassure him that everything was okay.
