Perhaps it is your daycare - some of them are not up to par and hire young, inexperienced, less than tolerant girls to watch your kids. Or, perhaps it is just daycare, your child doesn't want to be there and is angry and upset they are not with you. If staying home with your child is not an option, I highly suggest changing from daycare to "Pre-School". THey do accept children from two and a half years old. In Atlanta, they have Primrose and Creme de la Creme, which have strict disiciplines of teaching in a loving, caring environment. It is not "daycare". I sent my child to Creme at 2 1/2 for socialization and learning reasons (I have the option to stay home and do, and I had a new baby and couldn't focus on two kids at once so pre-school was a life saver). My son is smart, well adjusted, friendly, loving, and has a lot more skills than the average four year old now from this experience. They do a lot of creative things for learning; kids just don't sit around and play.
You should research this in your area. It probably costs a little more, but it is worth it.
Best of luck.
