SUBJECT: My 2 year old doesn't fall asleep untill 11:00pm!
Hi everyone, I am new to this so I have a lot of issues. Please be patient, I hope someone can help. First of all, I am a single mother who allows her son to sleep with her. I don't mind this at all except he doesn't fall asleep until 11:00pm or sometimes later. I have tried getting him to bed at 9:00pm I read a bedtime story and them turn off the lights. He is so full of energy that he insists I turn on the lights. Part of the problem is that he naps late 3:00pm and he doesn't wake up for 2 hours. His babysitter doesn't have a nap schedule so he naps at any time. Sometimes he doesn't nap until I pick him up, then he falls asleep on the way home. Another problem is, he only falls asleep after he's had a warm cup of milk. Then he still wakes up in the middle of the night to ask for more. How can I brake these two tediouse habits?
