I was very lucky when it came to getting rid of the bottle. Unfortunately, my son was ill and my mom suggested I give him tea in his bottle. As soon as he tasted the tea he throw it down. That night when I went to give him his bottle he didn't want anything to do with it. My suggestion is this: Give your child a bottle of unsweetened tea. Perhaps you'll have the same luck.
