| okay, I'm sorry.
What I am talking about in regards to the college bums/alcoholics out there are the fraternity's you see on the news where someone usually "drinks" themselves through college and "waste" their parents money.
I am stereotyping, but, a lot of young dudes watch movies like "Animal House", even as old as it is, and want to emulate that sort of behavior.
Anyway, I have been really paying a lot of attention to Dr. Laura lately and she is just so so so smart!
I live my life very simple and I don't get my hair & nails done (I am serious). We don't have cell phones or cable bills.
We use rabbit ears and watch very little T.V.
We have old reliable cars that we get their oil changed and we do the upkeep of older cars.
We don't need a Mortgage to keep us broke!
We like the fact that if we need anything fixed inside of the apt. that the Maintenence will have to fix it!
We don't worry about materialistic stuff.
We budget really good, so I can afford to stay at home.
I cook most meals and my Husband helps me out with the kids A Lot!!!
I work on my eBay selling and website at night and weekends, when Mark (my husband) is home to help out with the kids.
The only time I usually get on the computer during the day is just to get e-mail. Usually when the kids are helping me with the baby or they are busy with friends and our baby is taking a nap.
I feel that too many people are materialistic and selfish.
I feel that this doesn't apply to everyone, but the working Mom's who don't have to work and I am mostly talking about 8:00 to 5:00 type of jobs where they drop the kidlett off at 7:00 a.m. and pick them up at 6:00 p.m. That is so sad to me.
I am not talking about the kind of Mom's who work out a good schudule with a few hours here and their.
Anyway, baby is waking up in a while and I am getting hungry.

P.S. I am a nice person who got on a high horse yesterday and I am sorry to have done that because I couldn't sleep.
I just want kids to get proper parenting and if you can't take care of them (with time and attention, not money so much) don't have 'em. |
