 | I am taking care of a little 4yo Girl for the past 8 mths, her Father lives in a different state and pretty much walked away from her, and the mother sees her at least once a week. Her mother rents out a room from someone down the street from me, and Just can't afford the little girl. I am wondering what my chances are to get legal guardianship if I have to fight her into doing so. I am not related to her !! I don't think the mother wants to do the Guardianship, But I don't think the mother will ever get herself together, and I want this child to have a stable life, which she never had until we took her in. We buy her clothes and everything, the mother don't do ANYTHING !!! And will the father have to be notified If I try to get guardianship?? He don't even Pay child support, The mother never asked for it. If anyone knows or have suggestions, that would be wonderful... Thank You !!!! |
