Hi Ashkal,
My name is Sharon and ive just found out that i am PREGNANT! yep PREGNANT after my husband had a vasectomy 5 yrs ago.
For the past year ive not had a period because i have got polly syistic overie syndrome (pocs) i dont konw if you have heard of it? and i also have endemetrioses (dont know how to spell that sorry) so when about two months ago when i discovered a large lump in my belly the last thing i thought it was was a baby! i thought i had got a large cyist or even worse!, i worried about it for a while (as you do) then when it started to move and what i thought pulse i got very worried and desided to go to the docs.
My first words to the doc went like this " right doctor let me explain I AM DEFINETLY NOT PREGNANT because my husband has had a vasectomy ect... so it must be a large cyist" by the way this was last monday, so anyway he examined me interenaly and said there is nothing wrong with me and to stop worring, so i did but this thing kept moveing and i became obsesed with this lump but didnt know what to do, by friday i was out of my mind so out of desperation (more than anything) i did a pregnanct test just to iliminate it, and to my complete shock it was possative! i went back to the doctors today (monday)and saw another doctor explained everything he examined me and to my further shock told me i am 6mths pregnant!!!!!!!!!!! wow would you believe it? im still getting over the shock my husband who knows i havent been cheating on him is even more shocked than me.
im 34 in oct and hes just turned 49, we allready have 2 kids aged 10 & 8 so we didnt want any more.
any way i hope this helps you to know that it happens, my doc says it happens about every one in two hundred.
Good luck for the future i hope things go well for you both.
Best wishes Sharon xx
