Congrats on the baby!!
I was 17 the first time I got pregnant!!
I think that it is awesome that you are going to a birthing center!!! I wish I would have been as well informed as you are at 17!

I think that with the right support and attitude that you can have a baby without medication. After all I am on #3 without!

It is a totally awesome experience!! The feeling of having a baby is awesome!

My SIL just had her 1st at 17 without meds and loved it!!!

It is very important to read read read!! I love the book Natural Childbirth the Bradly method.
it teached you how to recognise what stage of labor your in and how to deal with it.

Go to a Local La Leche League Meeting as soon as you can, those women there can help you find immediate resources!

And by all means Breastfeed that baby!! It is very important to you and baby!
