SUBJECT: 7 year old son thinks I'm a 7 yr old the way he treats me
I have a 7 year old son that over the past 8 months has started treating me like one of his friends. Talking back to me and not listening to anything I say. I punish him from everything to spanking, taking things away, sending to room, ignoring him and nothing works. When I ask him to do something or tell him no about going to a friends house, it takes me 5 times of saying then he will act like a baby by crying and throwing a fit. All I ask of him is respect, the same he gives to all other adults he comes in contact with. Help!!
