My Child has become the Biter the last 6 weeks. She has been at this daycare since she was 5 mo. She is now 23 mo. She is very bright and can talk very well and is the youngest of 6 kids. 4 of the kids only go 2-4 days a week.She is doing all of the normal behaviors for this age and ther is nothing connecting the biting incidents. Some have even happened when she was playing happily and just leaned over and bite the kid next to her. My daycare provider has been doing everything correctly and timeouts don't seem to phase her. Also she will go 1-2 weeks without biting. And she has not bitten me since she was very young (6mo) and I did the appropriate things then.Tis week she bit 3 days in a row!
Help...What are the things you have done...We are trying different things and feeling we may have to get more physical with her since everything else is not working.She is also saying "No biting" and shaking her head...I know she is understanding what she is doing. Also The daycare can only do so much and I am not there when it happens.
