SUBJECT: imaginary friends
Hi my 5 yr. old daughter has imaginary friends. She has 2 one name Matilie and the other Jessica.
She doesn't always have them but they do come from time to time. At times she misbehaves when
they come. She always blames it on them. She has 3 older sisters that constantly tell her that they aren't real. She insists that they are. After a trying day once I told her that it was time for them to go home. She became hysterical and cried. She didn't want them to leave. Also one day she sat at the window crying because they didn't come to play and she kept asking me when would they come? I tried to play along and said that I saw them coming but she kept saying that they aren't there. Should I be concerned?
