SUBJECT: Night wakings
My 16 month old had been sleeping through the night for 12 hours at a stretch until about 4 weeks ago. Now he wakes up twice a night hungry for milk. I have tried water, but he wakes up an hour later still hungry. My son is a terrific eater so we have no worries about that. There was no traumatic event four weeks ago so we are perplexed about the trigger and the nighttime hunger. One more fact, he eats dinner about 5:30 pm and goes to sleep about 7:30 pm. Any advice on how to help him sleep through the night again?
