SUBJECT: nephews behavior
Hi .I have a wonderful nephew, turned 2 in June, who I think is displaying strange behaviors. I hope I can explain. There is a set of coasters, 1/2 are pink, 1/2 are green. He gets upset if they are all mixed together, he wants the green ones together and the pink ones together. He had a tantrum one day because someone finished a soda, and the bottle was not put immediately in the recyclables. He gets very upset when things are not put back in there proper place. He is not talking yet, so since he can not verbalize he will grunt and point and make very animated faces to let you know that something is out of place. It just seems to me that a 2 yr old should not be so concerned with these things. When he first started this, at about 18 mos. We all kind of laughed. But now it just seems to be progressing. Any thoughts or ideas? The whole family is concerned, but just not sure if we should voice this concern to his parents.
