SUBJECT: My husband and my son?
My son was 3 when I got married. His real father is no where in the picture. I knew when my son was young he had a behavior disorder. He was put on medicine at age 9. Well my husband and my son has never really got along. My husband expects my son to be something that he can't be. He was always real strict on him, but when my son was able to do something he usually took advantage of the situation. My son is now 17 and recently my husband said he follows the rules or he gets out. Well my son has never been arrested or in trouble with the law. He goes to school makes passing grades and plays football. He is rebelous and has lied and stole to get what he wants. Well my son left, and moved in with a friend. He is now living with my father. The problem is my husband doesn't want me to support him in anyway. No money or anything. My husband hasn't spoke to my son for almost 3 months. This is really killing me. I feel like a horrible mother, I feel that I have chose my husband over my son. I have 2 daughters with my husband. I know my son is better off not living here. But I have to be there for my son and help support him in anyway. This is killing me and I cry all the time. I am a christian so I do alot of praying. But I need advice on whether I am wrong for supporting my son. Thanks
