SUBJECT: Gay Child or Late Bloomer
I am a parent of 2 boys (6 & 10 yrs old) and they couldnt be anymore different. My oldest will be entering 5th grade in September and for as long as I can remember has never had a "girlfriend". When I asked him about a girlfriend, he's told me he hasn't found the right one yet. But on that same note, I haven't noticed him leaning towards the same sex either. I don't know if I would say he's "feminine", but he's not rough around the edges like most boys. for example, he still hasnt learned to ride a two-wheeler cause he's scared to fall and hurt himself. I refer to the younger as the brawn and the older as the brain. My younger wants to marry everybody.

My question is, how can I tell if my 10 year old is gay or is just a late bloomer? Should I just ask him or let nature take its course?
