I have a 15 year old son who is 6'2" and 200lbs. He sometimes uses his size advantage against me. I have had success with talking to his coaches about his attitude. He is a very athletic child, and looks up to his coaches, and has much respect for them. When I let them know of his bad behavior at home they seem to know what to say to him, and his attitude does shape up at home. I also let my child know that I love him very much, and I am strict with him because I am preparing him for a sometimes cruel world in which self discipline is essential. P. S. If you must spank your child be sure that you are not angry, and that you only strike the childs bottom and never strike a child hard enough to bruise or injure your child.
