SUBJECT: 7yr old refluxer w/fructose intolerance & oral aversion
My son was diagnosised with fructose intolerance after his first three years of life spent having cramps, massive diahhrea and pain. We now limit his intake of fruit and fruit products which helps. However, he has since developed an aversion to eating solids. He will drink Pediasure, limited to 3-4cans a day or risk upsetting the balance of fructose. He has autism with seizures and other medical problems. He just had the surgery to help with reflux. After 7yrs we are still waiting for him to "grow out of it". Any ideas or comments?
