SUBJECT: CONCERNED about MIL keeping my child.
Here is my situation: My child will be twenty months old on Sunday, July 21st. I have been a SAHM since he was born. My mother has been able to send me money every month so that I can stay home. But, the money will run out the middle of next year. My MIL is going to be working one more year and then she will retire. She is supposed to be keeping him when I have to go back to work. The good news is she is not going to charge me anything. The bad news is that I am having second thoughts about her keeping him. She has been keeping her other two grand children some over the summer. She does NOTHING with them except watch TV/movies. She also lets them snack between meals which I do not allow. My son will be two in November. When she gets him he will be almost three. I know that is a year away but I am still thinking about it a lot. Please let me know your oppinion. My MIL is a good person over all.
