SUBJECT: is ther an alternative to drugs for adhd?
I have a 10 year old wonderful little girl. She has been diagnosed with add and she has a learning diability. She did well on metadate cd. Her learning disabilty was just diagnosed last month. I am wanting to take her off of metadate, but I'm afraid she'll have focusing problems again when school starts. Her learning disabilty is a processing deficit. She reads a few paragraphs and then has little remembrance of what she read. Is there another alternative besides meds? Briteyes61
