Considering the extremity of the pain, and the danger you can put yourself in if you get an infection or inflammation, you'd think there would be a more formal program out there to educate pregnant women about symptoms to expect and remedies which are apparently quite simple! I did go to a website for a gall bladder society that clearly stated on their website that gas
pains were not a sign of a gall bladder attack - that was what threw me off while i was having attacks. I also asked the surgeon if the reason my stomach was so acidic was from the explosion of bile when i passed the stone and he said no. I don't think i believe him. (i asked him twice to be sure).
My aunt said that her friend had gall bladder problems and she added the juice of one lemon to a 2 litre bottle of water and made sure to drink that over the course of 2 days. She continues to do this consistently and has had no more problems with her gall bladder. Apparently it has something to do with keeping your stomach alkaline.

I still feel like i am a ticking time bomb with a bomb of pain ready to go off at any time. Gall bladder attacks are horrible and horrifying and it upsets me to think that I could have at least tried to avoid them if I had known what to look for during pregnancy.

I guess what made it so bad for me was that I was trying to enjoy this new baby and I was having such bad attacks I couldn't nurse and then I was stuck in the hospital!!!!

Thankfully, I had lots of people praying over me during this illness and I made it through hopefully the worst parts.

Anyhow, I hope you get the help you need from people who are competent and give you options.

That makes all the difference in the world.
