6 Yr Old's Aim is TERRIBLE. Help!!!

I have a 6 year old step son who is very tall for his age. He continues to miss the potty and urinate on the floor. I don't want to ruin his independence but the entire bathroom STINKS. I cannot keep up and well, you know men! Does anyone know of an alarm that you can put on the floor that will go off if you urinate on it?
