SUBJECT: 19 Mos. old Jeckyll & Hyde
I have a 19 month old daughter who from birth has been a difficult child, mostly with colic/reflux/ear tubes. She has been at a really good daycare for about 10 months and has been very happy there. about 2 weeks ago she started to change. She used to love her baths, now she screams and cries and tries to climb out of the tub each night. We tried showers, even worse. Over the past week we noticed a new trend of asking to do or have something, yet once she gets it has a complete temper tantrum/meltdown. This week in school she has had 2 straight days of constant crying and screaming once i leave. The providers are shocked at her behavior and not sure what is going on with her. My husband and i are at our wits end, everything is a constant battle/tantrum/meltdown and it almost feels like colic all over again. We can't think of anything traumatic that has happened to her either. is this sudden change in her behavior to things she used to like normal? thanks!
