My parents know that he will find a way to drink, and it's no use trying to stop him, since he only has one year to go to be legal. But before, they told him: You may drink, but be responsible about it. Every single thing you do when you choose to drink will be reflected upon you and only you. We are giving you the chance to be an adult and as soon as you throw that away, theres not way to get it back easily. My brothers and I know the responsibility since we were young, so the pressure of drinking isnt bothering. Our parents trust us, so we feel no need to drink for the hell of it. Just let him know you give him all the responsibility, and that all mistakes will all be his fault. Don't let him depend on you to help. Then he might take this all in and think twice. | |  | |
