What your fiance is experiencing is a very difficult thing to live with. I have the EXACT same problem and it basically controls my life. I always decline invitations, and never like going out in public and it makes me a VERY lonely guy. I'm 24 but my problem began at an early grade-school age. Anytime someone even mentions an event that I might have to attend I get sick to my stomach and feel like hurling. It's an isolating problem but I have to admit that I'm suprised I'm not the only one dealing with it. It's rare to find other males over the age of 20 with this issue. But I would like to say, as a guy who's dealing with it, that your support is crucial to his survival. He needs your love, and patients more than anything. My condition has made it very hard for me to meet girls and the fact that you've held on to him, regardless of his situation, speaks volumes to me. I just wanted to share that.
