Hi flynnski,
I feel compelled to write you back on the other side of the biting!!

My son went through a stage where he bit, not the same child repeatedly, but he still bit other kids. It took him about 3 months to get out of the stage, and had been kicked out of 2 daycares from doing it.
I would suggest you talk to the director, and see if maybe you can have a parent/teacher conference with the other parents too! The reason i say this, is so that you can see what the other mother is doing to help and stop the kid from doing this.
I know i never got a chance to have a conference with the parents, at either center. My child was just told not to come back the next day, which i heartbreaking to know that your child will not be able to attend with kids his age!!

But i strongly don't think you should take your child out, as this could cause him stress, and he might turn the tables and be the biter!!
My son was biting because he was stressed too.

But definitly talk with the director and try your best to make it comfortable for your child, before just taking him out. I am sure the center will be more than happy to hold a conference and may benefit you and the other mother.
