Anyone ever hear of this??

Hiya,
I have a 6 month old who has this indenture ,as i say,on the top of his head just passed the soft spot. It was really red but has since faded some. I pointed it out to the doctor and he said it was a posible Sabaceous Nevus and would have to be removed before puburity. It has the potential to cause skin cancer when he is older and is no threat what so ever right now. NOW I did research on line and what I read has nothing to do with what he has on his head. I was just curious if anyone has ever heard of it and if you know what it looks like.??? Thanks
