SUBJECT: Starting daycare
My daughter is 15 months old and just starting daycare (she was previously cared for in our home by my mother-in-law). At home, she gets very upset if I leave the room (even if Dad is right there), and at her first hour-long solo at daycare she started crying when she saw another child who was upset, and didn't fully calm down until I arrived to pick her up. Any suggestions on how to ease her transition to daycare since she seems to be very emotional?
