AUTHOR: Mom2Jessica
Hi let me introduce myself my name is Cassandra and I have 2 daughters A 2yr old and a 3yr old. I understand what you are saying and I think I can help you out a little in your situation seeing that I too was there..I took my daughters pacifier by giving it to a puppy in front of her and told her that she was a big girl and didn't need the pacifier anymore that the puppy needs it. Yes she did cry for it the first couple of nights but you have to be firm and not give it. I would remind her that the puppy needed the pacifier and that she was a big girl (at the time she was a yr old). She would talk to me about it and I would change the subject talking about her sister because she never liked the pacifier. After 3 days she forgot about it. Now about the bottle in order to fall asleep all I can tell you is that if she uses that as some form of pacifier put some hot souce on the nipple and she won't like that so she'll let the bottle go. One thing I can say is that take one thing away from her at a time not both. Remember she's still a baby and doesn't understand everything and you need her to be comfortable with the idea. Well I hope I could be more of a help but that's what I did and it worked so I hope things turn out good for you and your daughter.
