I had the same problem earlier this year. One of my former good friends Liked a girl but I liked her as well. She liked me more but also liked him. I was scared to ask her out and then he did before I got a chance. I was very pissed off cus I missed my chance. Then he started hating me cus I liked her and he was going out with her. (although I didn't flirt with her or anything)

Anyway, my advice is that you should just let her go out with him. Because asking him out would be being a slut. You would also probably lose a friend.
