It has been a while since you posted this message. I hope everything has worked out OK. One thing you may want to look at in this situation is how the daycare responds to the biting. My son was bitten 4 times in three days..I think by the same child. The bites did not break the skin but came close. The caregivers didn't seem too concerned. I found one of the bites at bath time. They didn't notice he had been bitten that time. One day he was bitten twice in the same day and I was told that the other children were biting him in self defense. Yes..biting happens in daycare but it is obvious that in my situation the biting was not taken seriously and the children weren't being watched closely enough.
