Hey there

at the age of 8 i would tell her the basics... she is probably old enough to understand the basics of it all... maybe getting a book. i remember my mom getting a book for me and it helped a lot. (probably for the both of us! she seemed less embarrased with the help of the book!) and most books word it so that young kids can understand with little difficultly, and can usually make it a bit humorus (not that its a funny subject *LOL*) but it helps to make the child and the grown up feel more at ease.
