I am sorry to tell you that I don't know exactly either. I don't think that there is a standard way to figure out whether or not you have a short or a long torso (like a calculation). If there is, I have never heard of it. I figure that I have a medium torso. I think it is a relative thing...like how some people are more petite than others. Some people are longer from waist to neck (torso) than others. I really don't think that there is any way to lengthen your torso. Your spine is made up of bones and spinal cord, not just muscle. However, I know that you can do stretches to help lengthen your abdominal muscles. This helps make room for the baby and can help take away the discomfort you may feel from any stretching. I have to know...why do you ask...:-)
