SUBJECT: Bedtime bottle
I have a question...how old are toddlers usually when they give up the bedtime bottle? I realize every baby is different, but my son is 13 months old and the only bottle he has is the bedtime one. Other than that he drinks all his milk from a cup with his meals and has milk in his cereal.

It has been relatively easy to get him to give up all of his other bottle feedings...he just seemed to do it on his own. I'm not sure about the bedtime one, though; the other night I tried to cut him down from 8 to 7 ozs. and he had a fit.

Any suggestions or advice? Should I wait before I try to eliminate the last bottle? When I get rid of it, should I give him a bedtime snack with some milk in a cup before he goes in his crib?

Thanks.
