SUBJECT: I have just been told my daughter could have adhd, I am very worried
I have an 8 year old daughter and I have just been told by our family councelor that my daughter fits the profile for adhd. I am very worried, as any mother would be. This was just told to my husband and me 2 days ago. Since then I have been on the internet getting as much information as I can find about this. Boy is there a lot. Now I am faced with the decision of treatment. Medication or not? Any advise anyone could give would be greatly appreciated. I love my daughter dearly and my husband and me want to do whatever we need to do to help her.
Thank you for any advise you can give.
