| I had my 3rd child & c-section 6 mths ago. Like you, I have very thick scar tissue. My 2nd c-section took over 2 hrs. Because the tissue was so thick the 3rd time, they did a vertical cut on my uterus. I have large babies: 1st was 9.5 lbs (on time), 2nd was 9.25 lbs. (1 wk early) & the last was 8 lbs. (2 weeks early). I would really like to have a 4th & have my tubes tied at the same time. How about a tummy tuck while we're at it? :) Anyway, does anyone know of the risks I face or has had any experience like this? My dr. says a 4th would need to be born a lot earlier to avoid rupture. I bled for 6-8 weeks after each child. Am I crazy to even be considering this? My husband thinks so & is not very gung-ho about it. HELP!! |
