We offer milk in a cup at naptime and bedtime. He used to drink a lot of milk, but he now sometimes drinks a little, sometimes a lot, sometimes not at all. For bedtime, we do a bath, then PJs and play for a while during which the cup is available. We then do stories and such in the chair, or recently in our bed, and he usually holds the cup. We then pick him up, go brush teeth, and head to bed. I don't think he was really terribly hungry - he certainly just ate more over the next few days, but it was better to for him to eat more 'real' food and less milk (he was drinking most of his calories, I think).

Good luck!
