poor verbal memory skills

My daugter has problems remembering any verbal instructions. I thought she had a speech problem and had her in speech therapy for 3 yrs. then she learned to read and a whole new world opened she started learning everything she read but now it has gotten worst. she can follow a written instruction but cant seem to remember a verbal one for more than a few mimutes. example... If I have a list for her to get dressed, eat breakfast, brush hair, brush teeth..she will read it and do it. one at a time. but if I (verbally)tell her she will do one and the rest is forgotten. This is running into a problem at school because if the teachers change anything from what she has written it wont get done. She does not seem to follow adhd she is not hyper and her behavior outside of forgeting thing and being frustrated is normal. I am at the end of my witts.....Please SOMEONE tell me they have experienced something similar...
