I have the exact same problem with my 7.5 month old daughter. She was at the dr. 2 weeks ago because we thought she had another ear infection but it turned out to be teething. She weighed in at 17.5 lbs. but with her clothes on. At her 6 month check she was 14.5 lbs. She is very short for her age. Everyone thinks she looks about a month younger than she really is. This might be a good thing for me considering she was born only two weeks early but a 4 lbs. 13 oz. I don't let what people say bother me, I actually look at it as a compliment. If she looks younger that she really is, this might be a good thing when she gets older.
