My son just got out of kindergarden. He still poops in his pants. It has caused trouble at home, school, and afterschool care.

I went thru the motions of the Doctors' and suggestions. We started going to a therapist. He told us last week to take everything out of his room. No toys, No TV, No Computer. He can have books and music. He is to stay in his room and think about it. We are to remind him constantly why he is there. Not nasty. He is to leave the room just to go potty and meals. We have told him that this is happening because of his refusal. He is the one that has to make the decision to change. Our Doctor has decided that he is in denial about this problem. It is true. It is everyone's fault why he can't make it there.

We have had no big changes in our life. We have been dealing with this for sometime. I don't remember the last time he hit the POT! like he should.

The Doctor told us that this may seem harse, but it won't kill him to not have those things. Let him sit and think about it. We did it, and for the first three days he went to the bathroom. The last two we started to get back off a little thinking we got the message thru. MISTAKE! Now two days in a row he did it to himself again. He is now in his room again. I hate this. But something has got to give.

I wish you luck! I'm glad I'm not the only one.
