 | Hi Hannah, I am 37 years old soon to be 38 in July. I went off the pill about 18 years ago. I was afraid of smoking and taking the pill was going to make me fertile. About a month and a half later off of the pill, I was pregnant. My son is on the honor roll and very healthy. I had remarried to a wonderful man. I was on the pill for 13-14 years. We decided that it was time to have a baby. Went off the pill at the end of Aug. and got pregnant in Oct. WOW!! My daughter was healthy at birth and weighed in at 8lbs, 4oz. She is now 4 years old. Now I have gone off of the pill at the end of April. I have been patiently waiting to get pregnant like the other 2. I was told that I am to wait 3 months after going off of the pill to get pregnant. If I don't, it could cause problems with my baby. I really didn't like to hear that. After going off of the pill and getting pregnant about 2 months later with having normal babies that have grown into normal children into a normal teen, I don't think that I or the baby should have problems. Both children had to be born by C-Section. I am very short and had 8lb babies. I guess the thing that I am concerned with is my age. I have always said, "If Madonna can do it, so can I". That is if it will be God's timing. Like you said, everybody is different and every body works different. Your message inspired me so much that I felt that I needed to email you. Thanks so much! Enjoy your baby. And God Bless you both. |
