SUBJECT: MOM AT DAYCARE THAT DOESN'T DISAPLINE HER CHILD, HURTING OTHER CHILDRED, HOW DO WE APPROACH HER?
A mother of a 3 year old boy in daycare who's father passed away 9 months ago, never repremands her child. I've personally been hit by this boy right in front of the mom and she does nothing about it, not even saying to the child that you shouldn't hit, doesn't acknowledge it whatsoever. I wonder how to approach her on this, I was so dumbfounded and didn't just say something to her at the moment it happened. I don't know if she feels guilty because the dad died and feels she can't repremand him, but it's out of control. Any suggestions?
