Thanks for your adivce I will check out that website.

I was not dialated at all when they began induction. I was in and out of the hospital 3 times with attempts to induce labor. Finally on the 3rd try they broke my water and continued Pitocin. After 12 hours of hard contractions I was dialated to 7, and according to the doctor was backtracking to a 6 (I'm not sure if I actually ever did believe that or not. Since it was nearing midnight and I knew the doctor had to be tired and wanting to go home.)

My gut instinct from the beginning told me that they were off on my due date by about two weeks. They were saying that I was due before I thought I actually was. I think that is one of the reasons why the induction didn't work very well.

The doctor told me that next time they would induce me 2 weeks early if I wanted to try a vaginal delivery. This scares me in that the chance is greater for a uterine rupture.

Thanks so much for your info and advice. If you have anything else to say I would love to hear from you again. Thanks!
Trina
