SUBJECT: 8 mo old refuses to eat
My daughter is just over 8 months and been eating solids for about 2 1/2 months. She started out so-so but now seems to not want to eat at all.

She even cries when I put her in a highchair. She seems to hate eating from a spoon. I suspect she may not like the texture of the baby foods, I have even tried giving her stage 2 & 3s. The only thing I have been succesful in giving her has been chicken (that we've prepared) mashed in little bits and watermelon.

Has anyone else experienced this and have some suggestions. I'm worried that this pattern will create negative feelings around eating. Can anyone help?

Thank you so much. Lisa B.
