SUBJECT: Good News! & Harvard's thoughts
IN REPLY TO: Re: A question for you
AUTHOR: alemax
Good news! "Everyone" is not against you co-sleeping, there are many women out there who would never do anything else. You are doing the right thing, reading your baby's cues and following your gut and your heart. I just read research done at Harvard, the findings state that it is damaging to let the baby cry for several reasons: lack of trust, undue stress on baby's brain, and difficulty handling stress after baby grows up. Do you want me to email you? I can get you hooked up with all kinds of women who will support you and never tell you that you are wrong. Also, if anyone wants to read the research it's at: http://www.news.harvard.edu/gazette/1998/04.09/ChildrenNeedTou.html.
That's a really long one, sorry about that.
