Unfortunately, your husband is right. My daughter was diagnosed with ADHD and was put on medication. I thought I was being a good mom by doing this although, there was something in my gut that prompted me to do some more probing. I researched web sites about ADHD, medications and side effects and was horrified about what I discovered.

It hurt to think that medicating my daughter was the right thing to do when ultimately prolonged use would eventually place a toll on her health.

I am happy to report that my daughter is no longer on medication. I have found a natural alternative for her. She is doing fine in school and her personality is back to where it should have been. She no longer has peaks and valleys, but is a healthy, happy 7 year old.

Please feel free to email me to find out more about my daughter's alternatives to drugs.
